Relocate Travis Back to Iowa

THE STORY:

I relocated latter part of last year (2013) to Florida to be with my fiance'. Things were going well until July 2014. This was a very bad month for me, and that's why I need your assistance. All within a 10 day period I lost my job, my fiance' and I broke up (it's for the best), and of course, my dog (Shaggy) had to be put down after 14 years and 8 months. I know, sounds like a country song -- though it's all true!

The now CEO of Comp Resource Group, Eric Kramer (who was the Sr VP at my former employer) said after I was let go, "I know your efforts and ability. You should have never been let go by EB (e-Builder)." Eric too, was let go prior to me, as the company was headed in another direction than it was when we first came on board.

Hence, I am now trying to relocate back to Iowa, as I have very limited funds, and am needing some assistance. Once I get to Iowa, I will have a place to stay, as I have to be out of my current residence by the middle of October 2014.

Being down here in South Florida has been a very difficult time for me. The only friends I have, are those of my ex's family and friends. This being said, my only support group are my friends and family back in Iowa. My family has helped me out about as much as they possibly can. I know $2,500.00 may seem like a lot of money. However, anything you can provide will help out. Just think, if 100 people were to donate a mere $25.00, that would be the total amount I am needing to get back to the Heartland!!! If 50 people donated $50.00, again, that would meet my goal as well. My point here is, please -- any amount you can help out with, will be greatly appreciated and will be paid forward.

I served in the USMC (1992 - 1996) and traveled to places such as: Kuwait (to train the Kuwaiti Liberation Army) and Somalia (1995 Operation United Shield) to name a couple of the "Hot Spots". I have never asked anyone for anything without paying back my debts (whether that be helping people move, giving someone $20.00 for gas, helping someone out with groceries, etc. I've always donated to other causes as well -- i.e., American Red Cross, United Way, Hurricane/Earthquake catastrophes such as Hurricane Katrina Relief, Haiti Relief, etc.

I'm not asking for handouts, though I am asking for your help. Please believe me when I say that "I will pay it forward". I'm asking you to "pay it forward" by donating to my cause -- which is to relocate me back to Iowa. Thank you for your kind generosity, and God Bless.
