Friends and Family...this is my first full marathon and I wanted it to be something that meant something. The OKC Memorial Marathon means something to many people because we run to remember those lost in the OKC bombing. We run to honor the survivors. We run for the hope that completing something like this instills in ourselves and others...that anything is possible if we come together to support each other. All proceeds and donations go to keep the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum going. I encourage you to check out the website, http://oklahomacitynationalmemorial.org/, where you can read about those who lost their lives as a result of the bombing. Remember to look for Wanda Watkins...who I will be running in memory of. If you would like to donate and help me make this run mean even more, I would deeply appreciate it. Thank you all for your love and support...that's what keeps me running!
