Since moving to Boston last August, my passion for running has allowed me to develop a deeper sense of community, whether relayed as a certain unspoken motivation from a well-matched training partner or intrinsic to a wave from a passing runner along the Charles. I am thrilled to share that I’ll be running to support the Boston Public Library (BPL) in the Boston Marathon on April 15, 2019. As a member of the BPL Marathon Team, I will be training and fundraising towards the enhancement and enrichment of after-school programs at BPL. I look forward to these next few months as I combine my passions for running, education, and community engagement.
I hope to raise at least $7,500 for the Boston Public Library. If you are able to help out it any way, all donations will be dedicated to the library’s after-school programs, helping to ensure that there are accessible and engaging educational opportunities for children and adults in the Boston community. Thanks so much for your support and contributions. I will be sure to keep you updated throughout my training!
