Repairing Sandy's Home
Organized by: Dave Jacobs
Sandy has been our neighbor for over 20 years. She is in her late 60's and lives alone. I have been doing little repairs for her around the house as well as some gardening. I knew that her pipes were bad due by the lack of water pressure when I repaired her faucet. Most recently her drain on her washing machine was backing up and I discovered that the waste line had deteriorated in the ground. She called a plumber who told her that the pipes were shot. Sandy lives on Social Security and has no savings. I can supply labor, but the problem is the materials cost as this will require taking up the floors and some of the wall to reach the pipes. The amount estimated is for the bathroom and kitchen without the labor which I will be supplying.
