Repairs to a church in Philippines caused by typhoon Lando
Organized by: Ron Thorpe
Last few years I have been ministering in a church outside of Siaton Philippines. We have partner together to do many events from children's crusades, outdoor open air events, Healing crusades etc. Through our partnership we have led over 500 people to the Lord.
This year A typhoon, "Lando" was the most destructive typhoon to hit the Philippines so far this year. Lando, struck on Oct. 18, 2015 and took a week to cross the island, bringing intense rain and peak winds of 185 kilometers per hour and leaving 47 people dead, 82 others injured and four missing.
Lando caused damage to the church roof and walls in the amount of $1100 for material and labors. The funds form the local people are limited and hard if not impossible to come by as this area is on the low end of income. We are raising funds to help with the repairs.
All funds raised will be used only for the repairs and none will be used for any personnel usage. If any funds over $1100 is raised it will be used to purchase a manual brick making machine to help build and repair buildings in the Siaton Philippines.
Thank you for your prayers and support in helping the church reopen and continue the work that God has started.
