Replace my stolen mountain bike which is my work tool!
Organized by: Taner Yalcin
s a licensed mountain bike guide from Munich/Germany and living in Thailand since a decade I'm guiding customers around Asia and the Himalayas, my most important work tool (my mountain bike) got stolen on 03. March 2016 on a survey trip for new tour deatinations in Penang, Malaysia. As the business is hard and I already had to work hard to get customers, this situation makes it worst. As I don't have any other bicycle for this usage and the prices are quite high for this kind of gravity oriented mountain bikes I decide to try it with this Fundraiser Idea, it's a last hope for me to be able to effort a new work tool and get back to my work. Maybe people think this is a hobby, but I have to say it's serious work and also hard and mostly tyring besides cycling it's about to take care of my customers and make them happy from the morning until they are going to sleep, it's a full service job! but it's fine as it is also my passion! So if I'm able to buy a new Mountainbike I will do a ride over the Thorong la Pass 5416m a.s.l. at the Annapurna mountain range in the Himalayas/Nepal and ride over 5500m above sea level and already thinking about if this here works out I would like to start a new fundraiser but then I would like to do it for others to help them in a difficult situation. Even I can't get any funds here it is a hope for me and already this helps me right now to feel better. Even it would be better if some of you could help me with a donation, thank you!
