What would you do with $1.3 billion? Would it be used for something selfless, or would it only cause self-destruction and chaos for those around. Usually this is the case for lottery winners as they go on extravagant shopping sprees that leaves them penniless and without friends. But this goes further than the average lottery. With $1.3 billion at stake, the winner would instantly have tremendous influence and power in the world, and the last thing we need is another manic billionaire. The solution? The "Reset the Powerball" campaign.

The Problem

The problem is evident. If just anyone were to win, there would be enough money to impact the direction of this country. Whether used politically, to fund unruly organizations, or just going down a path of personal self-destruction the impact will be dire. The Solution The "Reset the Powerball" campaign. We are a not-for-profit organization with a goal of $580 million, which may sound impossible, but really any amount towards the cause will help.

Here is Why

At a cost of $2 each, we would need $580 million in order to purchase 292,201,338 powerball tickets to exactly even the odds. Any amount will increase the chance to win, but to make an impact we would need at least $10 million to increase the odds to a more doable 1:29.2. Any funds received will go toward procuring a winning ticket, which can effectively neutralize the looming threat of a reckless spender. Instead, funds can be put toward something more productive. Something like social community centers that will offer a bath, washing facilities, food, and career opportunities for homeless in the area, as well as host youth events that could uplift communities. This could reduce crimes for metropolitan areas with high poverty rates. Any winning money would be put toward a noble cause that would help the country in any way possible.

What You Can Do

This is where you come in. We need donations as well as volunteers to purchase tickets, and to get the word around. Really any time donated to this cause will be much appreciated and recognized. Thank you for your part in this! Help us to steer the world in the right path.
