Resonance Works is an artist-driven, multi-modal performing arts company dedicated to exploring the confluence of artist, audience, music, and space. In less than three years, we have already achieved so much: we were awarded The American Prize in Opera, and have expanded our offerings this season to include our new Resonance Chamber series at The Livermore in East Liberty. With The Bernstein Project and 8-Cello Sound Fusion concerts already under our belts this fall, we are preparing to present our second annual production of Amahl & the Night Visitors. There is much to be excited about!
Resonance Works is commited to maintaining a rich and vibrant community of professional musicians in the region. We are proud to report that 67% of our budget goes to paying our artists - double the national average for mid-size orchestras. However, none of this is possible without the support of generous individuals whose contributions have helped to make Resonance Works a compelling new voice in the Pittsburgh cultural landscape. Our artists and audiences are becoming more and more engaged by our “multi-modal” approach to programming and collaboration, which has broad and exciting implications for the future. The ability to adapt to 21st century audiences is key to the ongoing health and vibrancy of our art, and your support makes this possible.
