Who is Bold Tranquility?
Bold Tranquility is the first meditation app for women. We're leading a movement to help exhausted women regain their health and vitality using yoga nidra, a powerful sleep-based meditation technique.
By creating our 21-day challenge (available via mobile or web) we’re taking the first step to inviting you on a journey to be good to yourself.
Here’s how it works:
Purchase the 21-Day Challenge as an individual, with a group of girlfriends, or get all the tired women in your workplace to come together as a team. It cost only $19.99 each. You will each need to purchase the challenge here.
After you purchase the challenge come back to this Crowdrise page and click on “set up a fundraiser."
Ask your cool friends and family to donate. (If they’re exhausted women invite them to do the challenge too!).
Lie back and get some deep rest and relaxation with yoga nidra meditation for 21 days using our Bold Tranquility app or via the web.
Do I need an iPhone to do the challenge?
If you want the app you need an iPhone or iPad. If you don’t have an iPhone you can still do the challenge via the web. It’s the same content, same journey, same magic. (we hope to have an Android version in the future)

What is yoga nidra?
Yoga nidra is a sleep-based meditation technique. Benefits include better sleep, more energy, and improved mood. Unlike conventional sleep which is an unconscious state, yoga nidra meditation takes you to sleep consciously. It uses scientifically proven techniques like breath work, affirmations, intentions and pairing opposites to create a potent formula for going into what yogis call the fourth state of consciousness, a slower brainwave frequency where you have the power to deeply restore your body, heal and realize your full potential. It’s like sleep on steroids; because in addition to deep restoration it provides the potential to rewire your habits and patterns.
Is this mindfulness?
You bet. Yoga nidra helps you achieve a relaxed mental state while helping you cultivate awareness of the present moment. That’s mindfulness.
I want to do the challenge, but I don’t think I have time to do this every day.
The yoga nidra meditations are only a 15 minute commitment every day. Are you worth? Only 15 minutes every day to de-stress.
I already meditate, how is yoga nidra different?
We love meditation too. So we're not picking a fight with meditation. What sets yoga nidra meditation apart is that it’s sleep-based and can easily take you to an even deeper meditative state, a state yogis call the forth state of consciousness where deep restoration and healing occur. By sleep we don't mean you have to lie down and sleep to do it. You can do it lying down, but you can also do it sitting in a chair, on an airplane, and even while getting a pedicure. Why not?
What style of yoga nidra do you teach?
We mostly use the Amrit Method of Yoga Nidra, but we do apply our own touch here and there and are influenced of other yoga nidra styles. We subscribe to the mindset that all versions of yoga nidra are wonderful and a deep contribution to the world.
I’m not spiritual, does that matter?
Makes no difference. Yoga nidra is for everyone. It’s not religion-based.
Do I have to lie down to meditate?
Nope. You can lie down or sit in a chair. The point is to be comfortable.
What if I fall asleep?
Not a problem. While we encourage you to stay awake, if you fall asleep yoga nidra still imprints on your subconscious mind. You will benefit whether you fall asleep or not.
Can I listen to yoga nidra meditation while driving?
Please, don’t. Yoga nidra takes you into deep brainwave states. You don’t want to be driving.
What if I want to keep doing yoga nidra after the challenge?
