Glade Run Lake Conservancy is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to raising funding to restore Glade Run Lake in southern Butler County, southeastern PA. The lake was drained due to safety concerns with the dam and government funding is not available to repair the dam. Local citizens have formed the nonprofit in order to privately raise funding to restore the dam and the lake. More information is available at www.gladerunlakeconservancy.org. Our first fundraiser will be as a Contributing Charity at the 2013 Dick's Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon with a group of Kids of Steel volunteers and participants in other Marathon weekend events.
