Sarah Collins wrote -Our Daughter Mykaela has been kept from her father, her 4 siblings and the rest of her paternal relatives for the past 4 years, by her biological mother. We believe that she is being cared for and is healthy, but we have only recently in the past year been provided an address for her. We have fought unrepresented in the court system for more than a year, and her mother has refused to follow the court order in place. We have now been offered the services of a parental coordinator, who will finally be able to speak with our daughter Mykaela and let her know that her father has been trying to see her for these 4 long years, and also that she has a new little baby brother and three other siblings who miss her and love her.
If we can come up with the 1500 dollars to pay for this service then our children, myself and my husband will finally be able to have a chance to see Mykaela and offer her this normal life where she can have an end to missing her dad and wondering why he would leave for so long without seeing her.
I know there are so many other things to donate to, and honestly I would donate elsewhere too, with all the pain and tragedy in the world. But, if you have ever been in the place where we are now, then maybe you could lend us a small hand and we can pay it forward in time as we continue to work to establish ourselves financially and as our children grow and necessitate less time of our care every day.
Thanks for reading this. Maybe go hug your little ones?? <3
