The 12th of June every year is observed as the worlds Day against Child Labour. It is a period to provide hope to all child labourers and to create awareness towards ending the injustice done to child labourers. To this end, we require your support to raise a total amount of or its equivalence of USD $9,450.00 Efforts towards eliminating child labour in Ghana has been commendable, however, it remains a fact that results achieved at various milestones so far are still below the thresh hold required for maximum success. In recent times, unregulated casual labour market centres in the central business and commercial districts of cities in southern Ghana play host to distressed migrant child workers from the northern part of the country. They hold hoes and machetes waiting to be employed daily. The Reverse Invalidation Project is a collaboration between Pledge Ghana and the Ejisu Juaben Municipal Assembly in the South and the Lamussie Karni District in the Upper West to arrest and address these teething problems. The World Day against Child Labour 2015 would be a major opportunity to reach a broader audience across the North and South of the country, and influence a renewed momentum of stakeholders for a broader awareness.
