Rex's Life Restoring Surgery
Organized by: Agustin Sobrino-Figueroa
Woof! Woof! (Hi potential angel donator, my name is Rex. I am a 7 months old puppy full of energy and love to give. On Sunday night, while calmly sitting on the back seat of my dad's 4Runner travelling from Miami to Orlando, something really bad happened. My dad got into a car accident and his car rolled over an estimate of 10 times. In the mist of the event, I got scared and decided to flee the scene. Since my dad needed to be rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment and no one could find me, I spent 36 hours by myself near the scene of the accident. I know my family was really worried and searched for me until they finally found me. When they found me; they noticed I couldn't walk so they rushed me to the animal hospital. There they gave my family the bad news that I needed surgery if I ever wanted to walk again. They all are sad cause of this news but they don't let me see it, as they act if everything is going to be great.)
My name is Agustin Sobrino and I am Hedley Cayasso's roommate, and Rex's favorite puppy-sitter. An accident is just an accident, as it is something that is not expected and could happen to anyone. A dog is much more than an animal and a pet. A dog is more like a child, a part of the family. We really want to give Rex the best life he can have moving forward but we cannot do it by ourselves, since he needs surgery on his hip and one of his legs. These surgeries mark the difference from walking again or not. We appreciate any type of amount you can donate to the cause and will be forever grateful. No amount is little. Thanks in advance. God bless you and your family.
