Rez's Missionary Trip to India

I am excited to let you know that I will be co-leading a Mount Paran Church of God short-term missionary trip to India this year!
It is a great and unexpected responsibility that God has laid on my heart. I am looking forward to growing in my faith alongside my team members and with the kids in the children's home in Vellore, India.
The children we are reaching come from various areas near Vellore. Many of them come from unfortunate backgrounds and stay at the children's home so they can create better opportunities for their future. The home is essential to the daily lives of each child because every day everyone practices a routine of praying to God and learning more about His word. So to encourage their faith, Team India 2016 plans to get to know each child's heart, see what each yearns for, and pray with and nurture them in hopes of planting a seed that will instill a stronger foundation in Christ.
Please send your prayers and thoughts to Team India and to the children in Vellore. If you are led to help financially for my trip, I will greatly appreciate. Any amount of contribution will help me get one step closer to seeing the children's faces light up when we walk through the front door. In addition, it will help me get one step closer to offering my mind, talent, heart and faith to those in need with this bible verse in my heart:
“As we each have received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards for God’s varied grace.” - 1 Peter 4:10
During my time in Vellore last year, I noticed that the children really wanted us to pray for them. On some nights, they would line up, grab our hands and say, “Pray for me.” They yearn to feel loved and to learn more about God's love and His power. Our job is to provide them fuel to continue in their faith and to show them that Mount Paran in Atlanta, Georgia is their family through the Bible-based ideas and projects we plan to do with the kids.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope you will pray for Team India, the children, and donate whatever amount God leads you to.
