As you may know, my mother, Reenie Nourie, passed away on October 24th after suffering a massive stroke on October 17th.
From a very young age, Reenie inherited the same generous heart for charity that she saw in her own mother. My mother was involved in countless acts of kindness throughout her whole life…up until her dying day (she was supposed to serve lunch to those in need the day before she had a stroke).
A relief fund in her name has been created to help New Yorkers in need from the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, via Robin Hood Foundation. This would be in keeping with her generosity and tie into her love of New York City she so often visited with my father.
Please join me in no greater tribute to my mother - carrying out her selfless mission of helping others in dire need.
Click on the donate button to the right of the screen to give towards my mother's memorial to rise up NYC's most recent fallen. Thank you so much for memorializing my mother in this way. - Phil
