Rice Family Honor Flights

Debbie Rice wrote -Robert Rice (97) and Kenneth Rice (88) are two brothers from Upstate South Carolina who served our country during WWII. Robert served in the Army Air Corp as a mechanic on the B25's and was stationed in North Africa and Corsica. Kenneth was in the Merchant Marines. Both men have suffered tremendous losses recently. Robert lost two sons within two months of each other last summer, and Kenneth just lost a son in December. In an effort to bring some joy to their lives, Robert's daughter Debbie applied for the two men to join an upcoming Honor Flight. Both men were accepted into the program and are thrilled to have the chance to make this trip together to see their Memorial in Washington. For Robert and Kenneth, as for all the veterans, the trip is free. But the family members who accompany them as guardians must pay their way. So Debbie and Bryan set up this Crowdrise account to raise funds for their trip as guardians. We need forty sponsors at the$20.00 level to reach our goal. Please consider being a sponsor.
