Rich Coyle dancing with Madison Guhlke | Dance Style: Swing
Rich Coyle is performing with dance pro, Madison Guhlke, a Dance Express veteran and graduate student at the University of South Dakota. They will be performing a swing dance for this event. Rich is excited to participate this year because he believes Dancing with the Mankato Stars is one of the premier fundraising events in Mankato. He feels that being asked to participate in this event is an honor and very humbling, so he is “all in” for generating revenue for the American Red Cross. Rich categorizes himself as a Super Senior–meaning that he is over 70, and sporting a total knee and a total hip replacement. He wanted to challenge himself with an event that would be unique for people his age. Back in 1964, at Manasquan High School in New Jersey, Rich was voted best dancer in his class. The question is, 54 years later…can he still do it? Does he still have it? Outside of retirement, Rich is very involved with fundraising for the Blue Earth County Humane Society, Tee It Up for The Troops golf tournament, volunteering at the Joint Center at Mayo and he’s a supporter of the Minnesota State Men's Basketball program, as well as the Mankato Golf Club’s building exploration committee.
