BENEFITING: SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA LEADERSHIP NETWORK
Richard Diaz, director of Riordan Leadership Institute (RLI) for more than 15 years, impacted the lives of countless community leaders through his work in preparing them to invest their time and talents through service on nonprofit boards.
Considered the heart and soul of the program, Richard inspired and empowered RLI participants to be actively and effectively engaged with nonprofit organizations across the Los Angeles region. His commitment to the crucial partnerships between highly qualified board members and the nonprofits they serve was unparalleled. Richard's sudden passing in 2014 left a hole in L.A.'s civic fabric.
The Richard Diaz Memorial Scholarship Fund has been established in collaboration with Richard's family to honor and further his legacy. All donations to the fund will support the participation of qualified, diverse participants in RLI. Scholarship recipients must demonstrate financial need and clear commitment to serving on nonprofit boards.
Thank you for honoring Richard, and for your commitment to building the next generation of nonprofit board leaders.
