Youth of East Palo Alto
Raising money to support programs that serve the youth of East Palo Alto Police Officer Rich May was shot and killed on January 7, 2006. Officer May dedicated his life to helping underpriviledged youth. Family and friends of Officer May started the Rich May Foundation with the hope of continuing his work with the kids of East Palo Alto. Our first big project is an all-weather field for the youth sports teams of the city to use as their home field. There is no field of such caliber in the city. The construction on the field has started and is due to finish by the end of January.
