RICHMOND HOCKEY INC
The Richmond Royals were formed in 1995 as the Greater Richmond Youth Hockey Association's Richmond Renegades. Over the years, we have grown and merged with other organizations to form the Richmond Royals (Richmond Hockey, Inc.), a youth travel ice hockey organization.
The Royals mission is to provide a fun, safe and competitive program for young men and women who seek a more competitive level of play. The Royals operate under a code which establishes dedication, discipline, commitment and high ethical standards. These are key club values. The club encourages individual players to develop to the best of their ability and supplies the environment for each player to achieve or exceed his/her potential.
Words To Play By "Somewhere behind the athlete you've become, the hours of practice, the coaches who pushed you, the teammates who believed in you, and the fans who cheered for you, is the little boy who picked up a stick, who fell in love with the game and never looked back. Play for him".
We play in a highly structured league environment, play additional non-league games against area and out-of-state USA Hockey sanctioned teams, and compete in various invitational tournaments throughout the Eastern United States and Canada.
The Richmond Royals are proud to announce evaluation and tryout dates for the 2014-15 season.
