In my life I have experienced the loss of family members, friends and most of all, people I've met who has lost family and/or friends. The pain in our eyes choose the sorrow and the hatred towards this disease! Breast cancer... Two out of the past three years I have tried to make a difference by reaching out and talking to people as I ride a pink moped from Kansas City to Sturgis South Dakota for the bike rally. I talk to thousands of people as I make my way to Sturgis. Expressing the need for you ladies to be checked every year with your doctor to find any info to find any infirmities that can help you get them Medical needs started before you hit a higher stage of cancer . I also have the people that I talk to write the names of survivors and/or those loved ones they have lost on the scooter to take them with me on my experience up somewhere they have not been or have been to Sturgis. And I believe everybody should experience that at least once! I've laughed, I've cried, and I've met some of the most wonderful people there are on my way to Sturgis. And to be truthful I have seen a relief in their face and eyes of those they have lost or they have survived ...That brings joy to my heart and that is why I do this ride......
