EVENT DATE: Jun 16, 2018
We ride to be beat cancer on a bike. Ride2Boulevardia!
In 2013, a group of professionals, all with personal ties to cancer, came together to create an event that would have a positive impact on the effects of cancer in our community. With a bike ride as our vehicle to fulfilling this mission, we now raise money for cancer research and support, increase awareness of the resources available for cancer patients and their families as well as put on an exciting ride that highlights all that is uniquely Kansas City.
Ride2Boulevardia is our jam and has been for 5 years.
The ride supports two very important organizations making a difference locally and nationally in cancer research, treatment and support:
• Children’s Mercy Hospital Cancer Center - Each year, the Children’s Mercy Cancer Center provides comprehensive care to nearly 2,000 children with childhood cancers, sickle cell disease, hemophilia and other blood disorders. Their commitment to clinical research and innovation has helped the Children’s Mercy Cancer Center earn recognition as one of the top cancer programs for kids in the nation by U.S. News and World Report.
• Cancer Action - A community-based non-profit offering programs and services addressing the physical, social, emotional, financial and spiritual needs of people with cancer, their family and friends. Learn more on CancerActionKC.org.
With the help of individuals and companies like you, we have raised thousands of dollars for our beneficiaries and provided great visibility to our sponsors through media and the ride itself. This visibility has allowed for a 60% growth over the last two years! Every dollar of your sponsorship supports these great organizations.
We are blessed to be a part of the Boulevardia festival and hope you will consider joining us as we fight to make a difference! Bouleverdia is a unique beer, food and music festival that takes place from June 15-16 in KC’s Stockyards District in the West Bottoms.
