Since 2010 the Riedel and Cody Fund has provided grants to pay for life saving treatments for companion animals diagnosed with cancer. We believe that our companion animals are family members and deserver the same level of care and access to treatments which could save their lives. Many companion animal caretakers are elderly, active or retired military or people on disability – all constrained by a fixed income and desperate to save the cherished companion who keeps them connected and enthusiastic about life.
Research and colloboration between veterinary and medical oncologists continues to improve treatments for people, especially children. Ongoing clinical trials providing care for companion animals are leading to exciting steps towards a cancer cure.
Please join us in our passion to provide treatments for our cherished animal companions so both they and people will benefit and live long, healthy lives.
