BENEFITING: RESONATE WORKSHOPS
On Saturday October 7th I am running from rim to rim across the Grand Canyon. This run is 21 miles long and about 10,000 feet of elevation change, crossing one of our nation's most formidable natural treasures. While running this crazy route may seem challenging (I'm scared!), it pales in comparison to the hurdles faced by the women we train and empower at Resonate, the Rwanda-based leadership training and professional development nonprofit where I'm a Board Member. The women we train and support have fought to stay in school while working two jobs, to find a loan for their small businesses when credit markets fail to reach them, to speak up against injustices in their communities, and so much more.
Help us cultivate more women leading change throughout East Africa by helping me run along, mile by mile! Sponsor me, by mile! From $1/mile to $10/mile, your support will keep me going tomorrow through the cold at the top of the canyon, heat at the bottom and insanely steep climb out those last 7 miles.
