As many of you know, I've been with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training (TNT) for nearly 8 years now, with the last two spent focusing on getting certified as a Head Marathon Coach. I've had the honor of completing my first full season coaching and look forward to starting my second one this June.
In the meantime, I am training to participate on a 12-person relay team in the upcoming 192-mile Ragnar Relay in Southern California. We're a bunch of crazy TNT coaches, alumni and friends who can't get enough of doing what we do - fundraising and training to raise money and awareness for a cause to which we've dedicated our blood, sweat and tears, all in an effort to ERADICATE CANCER!
Here's where you come in: while I have supported the mission of the LLS nearly every day since I first volunteered in 2005, for the first time in two years I am personally FUNDRAISING FOR A CURE, and I need your help. Whatever you have to give - $1, $5, $10 or more - please consider making a donation to support my efforts.
In return, aside from scratching your head and wondering why the heck ANYONE would volunteer to cover 192 MILES - ON FOOT - with 11 other dedicated folks, you can help me help those who are in the fight against blood cancers.
Thanks for your support!
