For the next couple weeks RIT Softball is holding a fundraiser for Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis.
PSC is a rare autoimmune disease that one of our teammates lives with. Inflammation causes scars within the bile ducts. These scars make the ducts hard and narrow and gradually cause serious liver damage. The disease progresses slowly and can lead to liver failure, repeated infections, and tumors of the bile duct or liver. Liver transplant is the only known cure for primary sclerosing cholangitis.
Because of the rarity of the disease, there is very little fundraising and awareness for it. My team and I would really appreciate your support, whether it is an online donation through the link below, coming out to our PSC awareness game on TUESDAY APRIL 28 at 3PM, purchasing a T-shirt or wrist band at the game, or attending our fundraiser at Uno's in Henrietta on May 13 where a portion of your bill will go directly to PSC Partners. Thanks for the support!
