WHAT WE DO:
Over the last five years, RCC has developed a unique outreach program to help serve the needs of those in the North Riverside neighborhood of Jacksonville.
Every Saturday morning, residents of the neighborhood meet outside of our "White House" to pick up donated fruits, vegetables, baked goods, and toiletries. The Florida Department of Health has also worked with us to provide a free medical clinic to serve uninsured adults on the first and third Saturday of every month.
Hollybrook is an apartment community in North Riverside where we've been able to team up with the residents to serve in special ways. I.M.P.A.C.T (Individuals Mentoring for Personal & Community Transformation) is a mentoring program that allows volunteers to walk alongside Hollybrook kids and build relationships. The Share Shop provides donations of clothing, toys, furniture, and other items to families who are in need. The monthly Birthday Party is a time to celebrate with all the Hollybrook children who had a birthday that month. We also periodically host a Movie Night, projecting a family-friendly movie on the big screen.
