Bridget is a mature, focused young women referred to R.J. Leonard Foundation by a local youth agency. As a young teen, she cared for an ailing mother and younger sister before spending time in the foster care system. She is very successful, despite the demands of being a 21 year old mom. She is a part time student at a challenging four year school, with the goal of graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. Bridget is a very hard worker, not only in school, but also at her internship obtained through RJLF with a local health care communication company. Furthermore, she is a part-time nurse’s aid. RJLF has provided Bridget with tutoring, college and career counseling, interview attire, and a laptop through community partner OSW. Her Mentor is a seasoned marketing executive in the Biotech industry with prior mentoring experience. Bridget is determined to be a strong, independent and successful individual.
