BENEFITING: MARCUS GRAHAM PROJECT
EVENT DATE: Sep 17, 2011
We are looking for donations to get several of our students/members to Los Angeles to attend the 2011 ADCOLOR® Awards. Why? Well, mainly to celebrat MGP co-founders Lincoln Stephens and Kenji Summers, who are being honored as Change Agent and Rising Star.
Tickets to the award show are $375 and average travel costs are $500. We are looking to bring some of the very individuals who laid the foundation for the success of this program.
"Their presence at the event signifies the reason that I am being honored. Without them, there is no me. Some of them might find the expense to be fairly cost prohibitive, so we are looking for sponsors/donors that might help us underwrite their show tickets, as well as some travel," says Stephens.
The ADCOLOR® Awards are an initiative of the ADCOLOR® Industry Coalition launched to honor professionals of color, diversity champions and companies who work together to further diversity & inclusion efforts in the advertising, marketing and media industries.
The ADCOLOR® Industry Coalition is supported by the ADVERTISING Club of New York, the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4As), Arnold Worldwide, Omnicom Group, CNN, Deutsch, Gotham and Wieden + Kennedy.
