THE STORY:

Hey guys!

As a lot of you know, our good friend Brendon Doherty has been battling liver cancer since early 2012. He’s a relentless individual as we all know, but can’t manage to catch a break. A few months back doctors told Brendon after additional testing that he had Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia. The doctors told him he had been unlucky and “struck by lightning twice”. You would never know all this is going on because he is simply a warrior. Anyone who knows Brendon knows that he is willing to do whatever it takes to survive. This is another struggle that will strengthen him.

Last time around he was able to sustain his health without the chemotherapy, which was his ideal choice. But this time around the treatment is 100% needed. Last years fundraiser was a huge impact on his ability to maintain his highly organic lifestyle. This time around he will be taking a pill-based chemotherapy, which is quite expensive. Brendon is not one to ask for help or accept help from anyone, so I knew he would talk me out of this. Brendon is finding out about this about the same time that most of you are. We watched the amount of support throughout his journey the last year and a half and the support system he has is incredible thanks to you all.

I know a lot of people had interest in reaching out to the cause last year but weren't able to come because of the distance. Mailing checks is often difficult so i made this site to be able to donate easily. I appreciate all of the support, every bit helps.

All the support is very appreciated, and I hope to see you all there!
