Battleground South Bay is a friendly, beginner focused crossfit-style competition. Our mission is to bring together the socially conscious crossfit community of the Los Angeles- South Bay area in an effort to raise awareness and funding  for a cause dear to our heart, Autism. April is National Autism Awareness Month and 2014 will be our inaugural event. The 1st of hopefully many to come.  Procedes from event benefit Train 4 Autism Foundation & it’s crossfit for special needs projects.

Beginner              Benchmark: Cannot Meet Intermediate Benchark

Intermediate     -Benchmark: Can hold a handstand pushup position against wall and perform HSPU with the assistance of abmat(s)

Advanced            -Benchmark: Can perform Fran Rx’d

Team (4 person coed)    Cannot include more than 2 advanced competitors



                Top 3 in each category (male/female) prizes TBD

***Overall BOX Champion will be determined by cumulative score of individual and team overall performance, # of participants, and fundraising (optional)

21 Clusters (95/65, 85/55, 65/35)

15 OH Lunges (95/65, 85/55, 65*35) Females May substitute 35lb plate

Rope Climbs (12ft)  adv:9 int: 3 beg: *Pullup Hang Test

*15 sec = 1 Rope Climb



For Load

Buy In: 1 min. Max Calorie Row

Deadlift Ladder Triple (30sec per station, 5 possible stations- must complete 3 DL to move up to the next station).

Cash Out: 1 min. Max Ball Slams (30/30, 15/15, 10/10) 

Total Calories + Total  Ball Slams x Total DL Tonage = Score


TEAM WOD (Teams Will Only Complete 1 WOD)

100m Sled Pull/Push (2 members push, 1 pulls, 1 holds plank. Sled only moves while member holds plank position) 

100m 2 Person Bar Carry (4 hands must be on bar only)
