BENEFITING: 3 LITTLE BIRDS 4 LIFE
My name is Robert and I was originally diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in July of 2007, and began my first chemo regiment on my 23 birthday. The original diagnosis was a difficult one, and required me to endure three biopsy surgeries to my chest. Originally the chemo seemed to work as my scan came back clear, but upon my three month checkup the tumors had returned. I then underwent an auto stem cell transplant, which like the last treatment did not last long. Since then I have been on about ten different clinical trials, eighty rounds of radiation, and countless chemotherapy's. I now have tumors in my neck, chest and lower lung. These new tumors have caused a paralyzed left vocal cord, countless bouts of pneumonia, and has collapsed my lung a couple times. To this day I keep fighting, but there is not a definite cure.
