BENEFITING: AUTISM SPEAKS
EVENT DATE: Jul 06, 2010
Advocating Autism Awareness & Lego Therapy
To raise international awareness of Autism, its effects on families, and the benefits of Lego Therapy for children on the spectrum; collecting 10,000 signatures in order to persuade the LEGO company to introduce building brick sets themed after the 2010 film 'Robin Hood'.
Autism is very challenging for children, adults, and families who cope with it each day. Many therapies can work. They can also be expensive. What I found for my son was play with Legos. They've done wonders for him! The possibilities for building with Legos is endless! And wouldn't Robin Hood legos be great! Of course they would!
Our goal is 10,000 signatures to our Campaign Petition http://www.petitiononline.com/RHLC4688/petition.html
