THE STORY:

We want to put a Milo robot into a classroom at the Dallas Autism Treatment center to help provide a new kind a social interaction learning and practice for children with autism.  Watch this video from CNN to quickly learn what Milo can do: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iz7ajAi4yQY.

Children with autism have difficulty interacting with other people, including their teachers and therapists and research shows that they more easily interact with robots and other mechanical objects. Milo is specially designed to work with children with autism and has a curriculum of more than 120 lessons covering a variety of topics to help children engage more effectively with other people. Milo also help track student progress and adjusts his lessons to benefit each individual student. Help us put a robot in the Dallas Autism Treatment Center!  This fundraiser will put a Milo Robot into the classroom for a year and cover the costs of training teachers to use Milo.
