On December 21st, 2016 I went into my doctors for an annual pregnancy check up, when it came to hearing the heart the beat the doctor wasn't finding it. She tried for 20 minutes to find it thinking the baby was just being stubborn like every other time we looked for the heartbeat but after 20 minutes she informed me she was going to have to send me to get an ultrasound to make sure there was a heartbeat. The only place that could get me in was the hospital so she sent me there. When I found out I had to go to the hospital I called my mom to go with me. Well since I was scared and nervous and my mom was to her friend drove us to the hospital. We waited 10 minutes and then they called us back. After about 5 minutes of looking the ultrasound lady said she was going to get the radiologist to explain what was going on. That's when my heart dropped to my stomach because I Knew it wasn't good. When the radiologist came in she is when she informed me that there was no heartbeat and the baby wasn't moving. My heart sank and I started crying and screaming that it wasn't fair and wondering why me. As we walked out the of the ultrasound room my moms friend heard us and came running that's when I fell to the floor and cried more. the doctors had to pick me up and put me in wheel chair. After that they put me in a room and we waited for my doctor to get to the hospital to go over my options. I chose to get a D & E done but had to wait two days until they could get me in to do it. On December 23rd, 2016 my little baby girl was taken out and officially went to heaven to be with God. Saphira Rose Norris- Gallant, Gone to soon but never forgotten. I am asking for donations of at least $500 dollars to help fundraise for the Rock and Walk I am going to do with the Tears Foundation. Ever since losing my beautiful angel I believe in bringing awareness and hope to others out there that have lost a baby/ child themselves. This donation doesn't just go to the rock and walk it also goes to the Tears Foundation for the different programs out there that help grieving families.
