I really want to thank you for your outstanding support of me and the Massachusetts Fallen Heroes!

April 18th was an outstanding day. I ran, and you provided the support.

Thank you. Thank you.

The course ran thru Boston College. Seeing my son and all his buddies cheering me on was an amazing experience. The Boston Marathon is basically a 26-mile block party.

The race is truly incredible [and pretty hard]. I went in with a calf injury, and it popped again on mile 12. With some outstanding treatment from a wonderful medic on the course, I was able to finish the race.

If you’re doing Boston at any point, I would be happy to provide pointers. The first 3-4 miles are rolling hills. Then, it’s sort of downhill/flat. That actually beats up your quads. At Mile 20, you hit the Heartbreak Hill(s). Then, it’s pretty much a flat run into downtown Boston.

You are amazing, and I really appreciate your support.

Respectfully,
Rod
