The Rodman Ride for Kids is an umbrella matching gift charity raising funds for youth-focused social service agencies that support at-risk children in Massachusetts.
Our mission is to have every child in our community live as we would want our own children to live. The Ride was founded in 1991 and to date we have raised over $94 million for at-risk kids in Massachusetts.
Since it's inception, the foundation has been able to support infants, children, adolescents, and teens that face a myriad of challenges. Programs supported by the Ride offer psychological, behavioral, and cognitive support. They offer opportunities to participate in sports, arts and music where they may not have access to otherwise. They foster early literacy and high school students with the college application process. They provide entertainment and respite for seriously ill children and their families. They are community-based, site-based, and residential. They help stop the cycle of homelessness. They provide quality schooling, tutoring, and educational support.
Most of all, the money raised will help the Ride reach new goals and impact more children in our community to live as we would want our own kids to live by giving them opportunities to succeed, thrive and become effective citizens of society.
