THE STORY:
Hello,
My team and I will be running the 2012 Reno Tahoe Odyssey again this year and are very excited. The race consists of a 12 man team running 3 legs each for a total of 178 miles. It runs from Reno to Truckee, over to Lake Tahoe, then around the lake, into Nevada, then back to Reno. The event has several charities, but also offered the runners the option to raise money as well. My charity is the Ronald McDonald House at Stanford. In January 2012 my wife Amy and I welcomed our 2nd daughter Kinley into this world. She was born with several heart defects that required open heart surgery at Lucille Packards Childrens Hospital at Stanford. During our almost 4 week stay, we were able to have a place to stay thanks to the Ronald McDonald House. We were welcomed with open arms and made to feel right at home in our time of need. This is an amazing place that runs on contributions and is quite deserving. Please join me in helping out this charity and wish us luck on our 2012 RTO.
Thank You,
Matt Brown

DONATION: $100
Ronald McDonald House was the best thing going while Kinley was getting the world's best care at Lucille Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford. We love everyone that donates to make this available. 6 years ago
