Rona's Road to Recovery
Organized by: Rebeca Miller
My mother in law, Rona, is a beautiful, kind-hearted woman who has recently gone through many life changes and severe struggles. As a mother, grandmother and physical trainer she has always been very active, compassionate and lives her life helping others, constantly putting herself second to everyone. Diagnosed with a brain tumor and not having any family nearby to lend support, Rona has lost all of her income making it impossible to pay any of her bills and severly impacting her future.
The tumor she has is connected to a major artery in the brain making surgery extremely high risk. She recently underwent a procedure using a gamma knife with precise radiation to stop the growth of the tumor. A week after the procedure, she was hospitalized for her blood sugar level dropping to a near deadly level. This has indicated to us that she may be facing a whole other medical dilemma. Tests have been conducted and we are awaiting the results. She still experiences headaches or migraines almost daily, symptoms she may never get rid of.
With your help, I am hoping we can provide a means for Rona to relieve the unneeded stress of not having income by making her capable of paying her bills and the debt she's incurred now that she is unable to work. Eventually we'd also like to move her to a more permanent location and assist her with going back to school as her days of physical activity have taken a great impact.
No donation is too small and our family thanks each and every one of you for your continued support and generosity.
