EVENT: 2015 Boston Marathon
EVENT DATE: Apr 20, 2015
“Life isn't a matter of milestones, but of moments.”
― Rose Kennedy
On April 20, 2015 I will be running my first Boston Marathon—and sharing in a Boston moment that I am sure I will never forget. I am honored to be running my first Boston with the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway Conservancy team, and I hope you will join me in supporting the mission of this dynamic organization!
Having grown up in Boston, I can't believe the transformation—where there was once the raised steel and concrete platform of Route 93, there is now a mile-and-a-half chain of contemporary parks that link the various neighborhoods of the city, imparting a vibrant color and life to the heart of Boston. From public gathering spots and water features, to over 300 public programs, events and art exhibitions, to some of the best food trucks in the city, the Conservancy is dedicated to maintaining and improving the Greenway for everyone's use and enjoyment.
I hope that you will consider making a donation—in any amount—to help support my run and the Greenway Conservancy. You can donate right through Crowdrise, or I would be happy to accept checks, cash or the spare change from in-between your sofa cushions. Your funds will continue the Conservancy's important work of creating and maintaining an environmentally and ethically responsible park that is free to all.

I hope to see you on April 20th! Let's meet on the Greenway after the race!
