Rose Marie Muhl's fundraiser
Organized by: Sabina Ramey
My mother was diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma. Since the surgery to remove most her tumor she has not been well. She lost hearing in one ear, has constant issues with her eye and lips, constant headaches, accompanied by severe dizziness and motion sickness, making teaching impossible. The doctors have now recommended that she resign from her teaching position that she has loved and held for over 26 years. Her heart is broken, and she is overwhelmed with sadness. The decision to leave her career also comes with a great deal of financial issues. She will no longer have her steady income or her insurance for herself and my brother Brian (who has many of his own medical issues). She has spent her life helping others, and I know that God will take care of her, but I feel I am being called to ask for help for her where she cannot help herself. She is grieving the loss of her job as it has been something she loved dearly for nearly half of her life. Until she receives funds from her retirement she will have nothing to live off of, and even then she is unable to get her full retirment since she still needed an additional 9 years of teaching to get it, so it really won't be something she can live off of long term. This money will go towards bills, food, medicine for herself and my brother. If you cannot give and would still like to help, please feel free to share this.
