THE STORY:

This fundraiser is a celebration of my mother, Carrie Roxanne “Roxie” Anthony, 60, of Niceville, FL lost her battle with cancer on Tuesday June 6, 2017. Roxie graduated from Lompoc High School where she reveled in theater and choir. She went on to get a Bachelor of Science from Bellevue University, a Masters of Public Administration from Troy State University, and a Masters of Science in National Resource Strategy at the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, National Defense University. These degrees served her well in her remarkable 30 year civil service career as a budget analyst for various USAF programs. She finished up her career as a GS15 at the Pentagon. Roxie traveled with Tony, her husband, to the far corners of the world enjoying its many wonders. She loved theater, music, and community service. She served as past president of the FWB Community Choir, past President of the Twin Cities Women's Club and Treasurer P.E.O. 2016 to present. Although she enjoyed the Arts and found fulfillment in her career and community service, Roxie’s passion was her family and friends. She was the most thoughtful and generous person I have ever known. She touched thousands of lives through her love and compassion for other people. This celebration will be held at : Masons Creek Clubhouse 904 Masons Creek Circle Atlanta, GA 30350
