Historic Rugby had a close call with Mother Nature on May 27, 2017. Lightning struck a large tree and ricocheted into the 1887 Print Shop, igniting a fire. Luckily, our cafe staffers Thomas & Tanya Dillard were able to put out the fire before even worse damage could occur. Please help us cover the unexpected expenses incurred, impacts to our budget, and to repair damages to the building and its electrical system. These include window replacements, ceiling repairs, and damage to our historic printing presses.
