Run 4 Adoption

We did it!!!
April 27, 2016
I'm excited to tackle my toughest challenge to date by running 2 full marathons on consecutive days. But this time I'm running for adoption - this time, I'm running for the Loween family and the little guy they call Dongsang; a little boy who's living in an orphanage in South Korea and waiting for a family to bring him home. I've known the Loween family for a while now and they've become dear friends and loved members of the running community in Alexandria. They're on the home stretch to giving Dongsang a loving family and a place he can call home, and I want to help them cross that finish line. In James 1:27 it says that religion that God accepts as pure and faultless is to look after Orphans. I think that's something everyone can universally agree upon. I'm running 52.4 miles and asking 52 of my friends to sponsor just $10 to help make this adoption a reality. I hope you'll stand with me!
I would like to have at least 52 people donate $10 for a $520 total.
Finish Mission 52.4 by completing the Kentucky Derby Festival Marathon in Louisville, KY on Saturday, April 30 and completing The Flying Pig Marathon in Cincinnati, OH the following day, Sunday, May1.
Thank you to the many friends and family members who have donated to the Loween Family. Thank you to Mike and Jaci for opening your hearts and home to Dongsang and for letting me be a part of it.
