On March 6, 2014, my life was changed forever when my precious grandson, Caiden Ash Murray, passed away from a ruptured brain tumor. Caiden's malignant tumor was called a "Primitive Neuroectodermal Tumor (PNET). He died 4 days before his 3rd birthday. In honor of Caiden, my wife and I founded the CAM FUND (camfund.org), a non-profit charity to fund medical research into innovative therapies and cures for childhood brain cancer. It is our desire to raise money, through various fundraisers and donations, to support medical exploration so all of our children can expect a cancer-free future. In Caiden's memory, I am running in the 2016 Chicago Marathon to raise money for the CAM FUND. I am dedicating myself to this difficult challenge, and I would appreciate your support! All pledges will directly fund medical research for childhood cancer research. Please consider sponsoring me in this journey!
Note: The Community Foundation for the Central Savannah River Area, Inc. is a publicly supported 501(c)(3) which administrates charitable organizations on behalf of families, including the CAM FUND.
