EVENT DATE: May 29, 2016
The staff at St. Vincent's Medical Center Bridgeport CT, have a long culture of serving those in need. Beyond the exceptional care offered to our patient's here in CT, we have been providing care to residents in Haiti for the past 7 years through our providers.
Our next medical mission trip is carded for October, with two of our attending physicians and one resident flying to Haiti to help contribute to ongoing medical care.
To aid in our endeavours in Haiti, we are participating in a fund raiser half marathon. All are welcome to participate and attend.

All of the funds raised will be donated to Health and Education for Haiti (HEH) - a non profit organization with whom we partner for our medical missions.
Health and Education for Haiti was formed in 2008 to bring services to the Haitian people who would not otherwise receive any medical care, education, or clean water. They work in collaboration with the local leadership to address the most critical needs in their communities. They work primarily in the Grande-Anse Department (province) in Haiti, which has historically been underserved by both the Haitian Government and International Non-Government Organizations (NGOs).
