EVENT: Tough Mudder Seattle 2017
EVENT DATE: Sep 23, 2017
The Angel House Orphanage provides shelter for abandoned, abused, orphaned and neglected children from birth to age six. Angel House provides a safe haven for these vulnerable children who are referred to them by social workers. The Angel House Orphanage Foundation opened in June, 2010 and is fully registered, licensed and accreditated by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). My uncle began the Angel House Orphanage 7 years ago and I would like to help support him and the children of the orphanage. I will be running the Tough Mudder race in order to raise money. This is a 10-12 mile obstacle course race. I have run 3.5 mile obstacle course races, but I've never run further than 5 miles. This will be a big challenge for me. Raising $1,000 would fully pay for 2 months worth of groceries, food, medicine, diapers, books, and fuel.
