BENEFITING: Blue Ocean Society for Marine Conservation
Hello! Welcome to the Blue Ocean Society World Oceans Day Run for the Ocean 5K fundraising page. This fun event will kick off with a 5K beach race, followed by a beach cleanup and live music by the Hilton Park Band at noon. Both runners and runners families are also invited to participate in family-friendly activities at the Blue Ocean Society’s Blue Ocean Discovery Center at Hampton Beach. Since this event is a fundraiser to help Blue Ocean Society keep NH beaches clean, to research the marine life in the Gulf of Maine and to educate locals and visitors about the ocean, we hope that you donate and share this page with friends, family and co-workers. Would you consider giving…? • $25 to fund one of our daily beach cleanups at Hampton Beach during the summer • $50 a week to ensure that our Blue Ocean Discovery Center touch tank creatures are fed and have a clean home. • $75 to teach 10 interns how to collect vital whale data • $100 to train a volunteer who will touch 500 – 1000 people in one summer • $125 to expand our fishing line recycling program Thanks you for your support!
