EVENT: Run Wild for the Detroit Zoo 2015

EVENT DATE: Sep 11, 2016

Run Wild for the Detroit Zoo raises critical funds for the Ruth Roby Glancy Animal Health Complex and veterinary care for the animals at the Detroit Zoo. Your help is needed to ensure that the Zoo animals receive the care they need to stay healthy. So whether you like to run or walk, support the Detroit Zoo and Run Wild with us!

If your friends or family want to support our cause but can't make it to the race, or if they simply want to cheer you on as you help out a worthy organization, it's now possible for them to sponsor you for the event.

Each individual who raises $150 or more will receive a Detroit Zoo plush and water bottle. The three individuals raising the most funds will receive a special Run Wild for the Detroit Zoo gift pack, including four tickets for a day at the Zoo.

Race entry fees will not be counted toward awards and should be sent as a separate payment.

About Run Wild

Join thousands of runners and walkers as they lace up their running shoes for the annual Run Wild for the Detroit Zoo on Sunday, September 11, 2016! The event includes 5K and 10K runs, the Too Wild! 5K+10K combo, plus a non-competitive 1.5-mile Fun Walk. Runners in the 5K and 10K events start at the Zoo’s 10 Mile Road entrance and wind through the scenic streets of Huntington Woods surrounding the Zoo. Walkers follow a course past award-winning animal habitats as they stroll through Zoo grounds.
