BENEFITING: The Feed Foundation
EVENT DATE: Sep 23, 2012
I'm running my first 10K on September 23rd to benefit The Feed Foundation. Research continually shows that education is the first step to battling poverty. School meals are part of education. Any donation you can make to help this cause would be greatly appreciated. This is a wonderful organization that helps many areas of the world.
FYI - This is not a suggested donation it is just an example at how far our dollar goes to helping those with so much less than us.
***$50.00 can feed one child in school for an entire year - one whole year!***
So any amount would make a difference to one child. An African proverb that was recently shared with me highlights that fact that no effort is too small. Everything has an impact.
"If you think you’re too small to make a difference, you haven’t spent the night with a mosquito."
Thank you for your consideration!
